Classy Burlesque Artist

It's okay to watch musicals about burlesque artists because they make you feel tremendously sexy.
Is it okay to watch them when you're eight? I watched Gypsy when I was eight.
Gypsy is the story of a girl who turns into a classy burlesque artist.
She goes from tomboy to super-hot-striptease-lady.
In this movie Bette Midler is like Britney Spears' mom. Bette Midler ruins her daughter's life, and turns her into a bombshell.
At first, Gypsy didn't want to show her body. She was really shy and didn't want to entertain and make men smile. She had to pretend she liked to be stared at.
She would play with her long, white gloves. She would make men angry when she didn't take anything off.
Later in the movie, she starts to enjoy nudity.
Gypsy is an extremely depressing movie if you ignore the sexy outfits. It's really hard to ignore sexy outfits. It's really hard to ignore Bette Midler's voice. It's really hard to ignore depression.
I have Gypsy circa 1993 in VHS and I know exactly where it is.
I don't know if I want to watch it.

Gypsy Rose Lee (born January 8, 1911 – April 26, 1970) was an American burlesque entertainer, famous for her striptease act. She was also an actress and writer, whose 1957 memoir, written as a monument to her mother, was made into the stage musical and film Gypsy.
